Volunteers for the LPO and GORNA, active in associations with ecological, social, educational aims... we are happy to help.
What matters to us is to live happily, in peace, as a whole: the natural environment, all of us, animals, insects, vegetation... We strive to manage the interiors and exteriors in a way that respects Life.
In 2016, Maïlis and I fell in love with the land and its surroundings, and it was quite an adventure to renovate the house.
Our 3 cats Mademoiselle, Gentleman and Nono, as well as a rescued semi-aquatic turtle named Saïmon, are our happy roommates. Other living beings of various species tend to seek asylum here and we thank them for that.
We have traveled extensively "in the home of the locals" around the world. The house and its environment lend themselves to hosting, we started the guest room in 2017 and the cottage in 2023 in addition to our salaried jobs.
We are both forty-somethings of Alsatian origin. We like the region for its natural riches, its cultural heritage and its inhabitants.

"I am an engineer by profession in polluted sites and soils. I am an employee of a design office located in Strasbourg.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, cooking, going to the cinema, theatre and concerts.
You might come across my mother, Michèle, taking care of animals (cats, fish, turtles, goats, wild birds, heron...). To meet my father, Pierre, you'll have to go to one of his concerts!''

''I am a FLE trainer and DCL examiner by profession. You don't see what this is? It's normal.
In my free time, I like to shape the garden, go on nature outings and cultural outings. And just like Maïlis, have a drink on a terrace in good company!
My mother, Cathy, makes an excellent chocolate cake that you may have the opportunity to taste. My father Bernard makes very (very) good schnapps that you will certainly have the opportunity to taste. He also provides vegetables from his garden for the table d'hôtes and picnic baskets, as well as wood for the fireplace.
Other people you may come across are friends passing by, neighbors, family.
